p/s I Love You?

I've read the book and I've finished watching the movie just yesterday *old movie, sudden urge to download the movie to watch*

Hmm... I can say that I don't really like the movie. It's really not like what the book is. Plus, it's not as touching that could bring tears
(I cried while reading the 1st page.. only the 1st page) and not as funny and hilarious as what some of the characters should be. Plus, the little sister is not as crazy and eccentric. No PINK hair!!

It's pretty much a waste I think, as the movie could do much better. The whole movie does not leave a big impact too and I do not know why, I am still a little annoyed at how the movie was as it really does not reflect the book at all.

I sense a deja vu here for what happened with Twilight and Da Vinci Code.

evil nails

My long fingernails are driving me crazy..
this is the first time ever I realized that my nails are longer than usual and surprisingly, they don't crack this time.
(I did not intend to keep them this long at all. It grew till so long without me noticing)

how my long nails are pissing me off:
1. I cant type properly. worst case typing on a laptop
2. I cant press the keypad on my handphone properly.

3. I keep scratching other people accidentally and even myself. I have a small cut at the side of my neck now.
4. I cant take off my contact lens. Today, I took the longest time to take them off and the nails keep scratching and poking on my eyeballs. Yeah.. that sounds really awful and gross and I cant understand why of all the years I have been wearing those, I felt like a beginner who cant even take the lenses off just now. -> This is the worst case that made me go ranting here.
5. It's hard to shampoo my hair.
6. I cant switch on and switch off anything properly. Had to use my toe. Imagine that..
7. Cant open bottles' cap or rubber cap of vitamins bottle or can drinks.
8. It's not even that really long. I really cant imagine how thos
e with long manicures are gonna do.

beading all the way

during the holidays, i picked up something new, perhaps a new found hobby - Beading!

i'm a total beginner here. Just took this up to mak
e some jewellery for myself and for the people who r close to me.. first trial - a necklace for Chinese New Year.

Blossom Breeze
(hehehe)
- the whole necklace is inspired by the
Chinese/ Oriental theme, blossoms, flowers, reddish to slightly pinkish to match the CNY mood. I actually modified a little on this necklace from the first design that actually has a flowerish toggle clasp as i found out it does not carry well for the charms are too heavy in the middle. Therefore, i settled with a lobster clasp and a flower spacer in the middle.

materials: flower charm spacer, a butterfly charm, clay white rose, cloisonne beads (flowers theme, white & red), cat's eye beads & some pearls

Modified with the flower spacer charm in the middle to hold the 'stuffs'

Pics are still quite blurred. I'm still wondering how to take proper pictures of jewellery. Do we really need a really good camera or SLR to do the job? It's quite annoying when u can't turn on the lights else they will reflect light, or turned out blurred. Need to use natural lightning but it's quite dim in the room. I've tried my best to photoshop the pictures to make the necklace and the beads to stand out..
